"I don’t want to be interesting. I want to be good." ~Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe

Mustafa is a Project Designer at FSGroup Architects who has completed his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Houston.  He has professionally grown and worked almost four years at the firm and is currently pursuing his Architectural License in the State of Texas.

An avid reader, Mustafa can often be seen bringing books into the office which are often used as design references for projects such as the Woodlands Masjid project and other religious projects.  During his lunch time you can find him reading the latest material for the Architectural Registration Exams which are known as the ARE 5.0 and also attending NCARB and AIA Test Prep Seminars throughout the day.

Currently Mustafa is the main design professional associated with the Woodlands Masjid where he communicates daily with both the clients, the construction team and any subsequent associated entity.  This includes highly detailed Construction Documents which show the brick inlay patterns and how to build them while also doing a quality control on specialty stone medallion pieces being shipped from Egypt.

When he isn’t preparing for his exams, Mustafa can be found visiting and traveling to parks and historical areas all over the Metropolitan Houston area.  He began this hobby the last few years of attending Architecture School as a form of exploration with his friends to learn more about Houston. Continuing this well past school, he continues to explore places that he had never been to or had little knowledge of on the first Saturday of every month.
